Renee & Sam’s Exuberant Embarcadero Engagement Session

Renee and Sam live a stone’s throw from San Francisco’s famed Embarcadero and spend a lot of time enjoying its breezy promenade, breathtaking bay and bridge views, and acclaimed eateries. For their engagement session, they thought it’d be fun to capture this important slice of their lives together.

We kicked off the session at Hard Water at Pier 3, a whiskey bar with a diverse array of enticing bites. There, our couple threw back drinks, a half-dozen oysters, and a decadent slab of chocolate peanut butter pie to fuel themselves for the ridiculous cuteness to come. Happily, no one got hurt in the spirited bubble shoot-out in the shadow of the Transamerica Building or the competitive bout of bocce ball, or while dodging bicycles along the wooden pier or chasing down the fleet of antique street cars.

Well, that’s not entirely true. Our cheeks totally hurt from all the smiling and laughing we did but it was totally worth it! Here’s a still and animated look at the fun we had together.
