San Francisco is peppered with magical nooks and crannies, so we were super-impressed that Krystal and Tom came across tiny Fay Park while planning their intimate wedding from their home in New Jersey. Just one block from loopy Lombard Street and several from tourist-jammed Fisherman’s Wharf, the park is a lush urban escape appointed with two latticed gazebos. It also has a sundial that reads “Grow old along with me the best is yet to be”—a perfect sentiment for the day.
After a quick ceremony at exactly 2:15 (hello, 11/12/13 at 14:15! Certainly numbers to live long and prosper by!), we spent some time enjoying the grounds with them and their five witnesses, soaking up the unseasonably warm weather and crystal-clear views of Alcatraz and the bay. Here’s what this secret garden wedding looked like.
